Avondrus Frail Care upgrade

Avondrus Frail Care is a non-profit facility giving 24-hour nursing and care to vulnerable, low-income senior citizens and residents with disabilities. MAP is raising support and strategic partnerships to modernise the infrastructure they rely on every day.

R 185 000needed in total, across 2 targets

What the money is for

  • Capital equipment upgrade

    R 85 000

Two industrial 35 kg washing machines (about R60 000) and two industrial tumble dryers (about R25 000), including the electrical and plumbing work to install them.

  • 12-month operational sustaining fund

    R 100 000

Five corporate or individual sponsorships at R20 000 each, covering ongoing maintenance, utilities and the high volume of sanitisation supplies a frail care facility gets through.

How you can help

  • Sponsorship and CSI funding

Contribute directly towards the equipment or the operational target. Corporate social investment funding is welcome and can be directed at a named line item.

  • In-kind support

Commercial hygiene products, laundry detergents and medical supplies are needed continuously.

  • Volunteering

Hands for facility maintenance and for community support drives.

Tax-deductible certificates will follow once MAP's Public Benefit Organisation status is approved. Until then we acknowledge every contribution in writing.

Tax-deductible receipts are coming once our Public Benefit Organisation status is approved. We'll write to everyone who has given when that happens.

That reference matters — it is how we route your contribution to this project rather than the camera fund.
